President and CEO
Michael Culbert has over thirty years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry, holding managerial and executive positions with a number of Calgary-based energy companies, including Progress Energy, Encal Energy and Home Oil.  In addition, Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pacific NorthWest LNG Ltd.  Prior to his current position, Michael was the President and CEO of Progress Energy Resources Corp. and has provided leadership at Progress Energy since its recapitalization in 2001.  Michael is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers’ Board of Governors.

Executive Vice President, Exploration and Development
Daniel was appointed to his current position in March 2009. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Exploration and has been instrumental in setting the pace and quality of the Company’s exploration and exploitation program. Before joining the company in 2002, Daniel was President of NXT Energy Ltd. and previous to that he was Vice President of Exploration at Renaissance Energy Ltd.

Senior Vice President, Finance & CFO
Art is the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Progress Energy Canada Ltd.  Prior to joining Progress Energy in 2004, Art was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Calpine Corporation’s power and oil and gas operations in Canada and also held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Calpine Power Ltd., Manager of Calpine Power Income Fund.  Art also held various positions with Encal Energy Ltd., an intermediate oil and gas exploration company that traded on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, from 1993 to April 2001 including that of Controller and Treasurer.

Senior Vice President, Production & Facilities
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in field operations, production, development, business in the oil and gas industry. In his current role, Mark is responsible for the safe, compliant and environmentally sound delivery of Progress’s field production operations, and leads the company’s infrastructure and field operations expansion strategy. He began his career with major North American producers Chevron Canada and Dominion Exploration before joining Acclaim Energy, which became Canetic Energy and then Penn West Energy. Prior to joining Progress in 2014, Mark held Sr. Vice President roles in engineering, production and development at Penn West. Mark presently sits on the board of directors for Classroom Champions, a nonprofit that connects top performing athletes with students in high-needs schools. He is also an advisor to the board for Edge School, a unique learning community where students can pursue academic excellence while striving to reach their full athletic potential.

Senior Vice President, Development
Ken brings more than 25 years of professional accomplishment to his new assignment leading the efficient and timely development of the company’s vast resource base. Prior to joining Progress Energy in 2012, Ken worked at Cenovus Energy as Senior Vice President of Operations Shared Services, and previously at Encana Corporation as Vice President of Development Ecuador Business Unit and Vice President Southern Plains Business Unit.

Kevin is responsible for Progress Energy’s financial reporting and compliance, financial risk management and treasury functions. Kevin joined Progress in 2002 and held positions of increasing responsibility including Controller and Treasurer and Manager of Financial Reporting before being promoted into his current position in 2013. Prior to joining Progress, he held the position of Senior Manager – Audit at KPMG LLP. Kevin has more than 18 years of experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry and public practice.     

Lynn Gregor

Lynn Gregor, P.Eng., MBA
Vice President, Joint Venture Relations & Supply Chain Management

Lynn joined Progress Energy in May 2014, responsible for partner relations with all of the company’s international partners facilitating alignment with Progress Energy’s development strategies and execution. In February 2015, Lynn expanded his role to include Progress Energy’s centralized Supply Chain Management. Prior, he was Vice President Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management and Continuous Improvement at Encana. Lynn has also held various commercial management positions at Amoco and BP in the United States, Argentina, Bolivia and the UK. Lynn’s career started as a construction and drilling engineer with Esso Resources in the Canadian Beaufort Sea. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering degree from Carleton University and an MBA from Ivey Business School and is a member of APEGA.

Vice President, Strategy and New Ventures
Arabi was appointed to his current position in 2014. In 2012 he was appointed to Vice President, New Ventures & Deep Basin Business Unit upon the amalgamation of PETRONAS Carigali Canada Ltd. and Progress Energy Resources Corp.  Prior to that, he was Head of PETRONAS Carigali Canada Ltd., in a joint venture partnership with Progress Energy for the development of the North Montney JV areas.  Previous to joining PETRONAS earlier in 2012, Arabi had spent more than 26 years of his oil & gas career with Royal Dutch Shell, and had held several positions in new business development for Exploration & Production, Gas & Power (LNG/GTL), and Projects & Technology.

Vice President, Aboriginal Relations & Land

Building on her extensive land experience with a variety of oil and gas companies, Cindy joined Progress Energy in 2002. She assumed increasing responsibilities in land management taking the role of Vice President of Land in 2005 and added the focus of Aboriginal Relations to her portfolio in 2012.  Cindy served on the Board of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen from 2002 to 2009 culminating as President in 2008 and served as Director of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen from 2008 to 2010 and volunteers on many worthwhile community organizations.

Vice President, Development
In 2014, Max was appointed as Vice President, Development for the North Montney and further expanded his role in January 2015 to include responsibility for the development of all of the organization’s operating areas.  Prior to that, Max held the position of Vice President, Engineering with the primary responsibility of providing leadership for the development of the North Montney Joint Venture since August 2011.  Before joining Progress Energy in 2004 in the engineering group, Max held various production and exploitation engineering positions at Apache Canada Ltd. and Shell Canada Ltd.
