
Michael Culbert
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael was appointed to his current position in January 2009 upon the completion of the merger of Progress Energy Trust and ProEx Energy Ltd. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Progress Energy Trust since its inception in 2004. Michael had previously been Vice President Marketing & Business Development since the recapitalization of Progress Energy Ltd. in November 2001. Before joining the company, he was Vice President Marketing & Business Development at Encal Energy Ltd.

Daniel Topolinsky
Executive Vice President, Exploration & Development
Daniel was appointed to his current position in March, 2009. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Exploration and has been instrumental in setting the pace and quality of the Company’s exploration/exploitation program. Before joining the company, he was President of NXT Energy Ltd. and previous to that was Vice President of Exploration at Renaissance Energy Ltd.

Art MacNichol
Senior Vice President Finance & CFO
Art has been with Progress since July 2004. Prior to that, Art gained extensive experience in the energy sector with Calpine Natural Gas Trust where he held the position of Vice President Finance & CFO and previous to that was Treasurer at Encal Energy Ltd.

Gary Miller
Senior Vice President, Operations
Gary has extensive experience in petroleum and natural gas operations both domestically and internationally. Gary joined Progress in July 2004 and was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations in December 2012. Prior to his employment at Progress, Gary held various operations positions at Qatar Petroleum and Fletcher Challenge Energy Canada.

Neil Horbachewski
Vice President, Engineering
Neil joined Progress in January 2003 and held positions of increasing responsibility. In August 2011, Neil was promoted to the position of Vice President, Engineering, Greater Town and Foothills. Neil was an essential part of the business unit that explored and developed the Company’s current Resource and Conventional Asset base. Prior to his employment at Progress, Neil held production and reservoir engineering positions at Elan Energy, Barrington Petroleum, Magin Energy, Rio Alto Exploration and Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.

Gregory (Greg) Kist
President, Pacific NorthWest LNG
Greg is President, Pacific NorthWest LNG, a Vancouver-based LNG company seeking to build an LNG export facility in Prince Rupert, B.C. Prior to this, he served as Vice President, Marketing, Corporate and Government Relations at Progress Energy Resources Corp. Prior to joining Progress in June, 2004, he was was Manager of Investor Relations at EnCana Corporation and its predecessor company, Alberta Energy Company (AEC) since 1997. Greg joined AEC in 1991 and held various operations positions within AEC. He is a business adminstration graduate from Grant MacEwan University (Edmonton, Alberta). Additionally, he has completed executive programs in Investor Relations at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Greg is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Mount Royal University Foundation (Calgary, Alberta).

Abang Arabi Abang Narudin
Vice President, New Ventures & Deep Basin Business Unit
Arabi was appointed to his current position in December 2012 upon the amalgamation of PETRONAS Carigali Canada Ltd. and Progress Energy Resources Corp. Prior to that, he was Head of PETRONAS Carigali Canada Ltd, in a joint venture partnership with Progress Energy for the development of the North Montney JV areas. Previous to joining PETRONAS in July 2012, Arabi had spent more than 26 years of his oil & gas career with Royal Dutch Shell, and had held several positions in new business development for Exploration & Production, Gas & Power (LNG/GTL), and Projects & Technology. Arabi started his career in Shell as an exploration geophysicist in November 1985.

Cindy Rutherford
Vice President, Land
Cindy joined Progress in 2002 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. Cindy was appointed to her current position of Vice President, Land in February, 2006. Cindy has extensive experience in land management, negotiation and administration and has been instrumental in the development and management of Progress’ extensive land portfolio.

Max Vorobiev
Vice President, Engineering
Max joined Progress in July of 2004 and was appointed to the position of Vice President, Engineering in September of 2011. His primary responsibility is to provide leadership for the development of the North Montney Joint Venture. Prior to his promotion, Max held the position of Manager, Engineering and has been instrumental in the Company’s growth and development. Before joining Progress, Max held production and exploitation engineering positions at Shell Canada Ltd. and Apache Canada Ltd.
