• Michael Culbert, President and CEO.
  Michael was appointed to his current position in July, 2004 upon the conversion to a trust. Prior to that, Michael was Vice President Marketing & Business Development since the recapitalization of Progress Energy Ltd. in November 2001. Before joining the company, he was Vice President Marketing & Business Development at Encal Energy Ltd.
  
  
• Steven Allaire, Senior Vice President.
  Steven was appointed to his current position in July, 2004 upon the conversion to a trust. Prior to that, Steven was Vice President Finance & CFO since the recapitalization of Progress Energy Ltd. in November 2001. Before joining the company, he held the same position at Encal Energy Ltd.
  
  
• Daniel Topolinsky, Senior Vice President, Exploration.
  Daniel was appointed to his current position in February, 2008. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Exploration and has been instrumental in setting the pace and quality of the company’s exploration/exploitation program. Before joining the company, he was President of NXT Energy Ltd. and previous to that was Vice President of Exploration at Renaissance Energy Ltd.
  
  
• Art MacNichol, Vice President Finance & CFO.
  Art joined the company in July 2004. Prior to that, Art gained extensive experience in the trust field with Calpine Power Income Fund and more recently with Calpine Natural Gas Trust where he held the position of Vice President Finance & CFO.
  
  
• Cindy Rutherford, Vice President, Land.
  Cindy joined Progress in 2002 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. Cindy was appointed to her current position in February, 2006. Cindy has over 25 years of experience in land management, negotiation and administration and has been instrumental in the development and management of Progress' extensive land portfolio.
  
  
• Greg Kist, Vice President, Investor Relations & Marketing.
  Greg joined Progress in July, 2004, and has been responsible for Investor Relations since that time. In 2006, Greg took on the added responsibility of the company's marketing efforts and risk management. Prior to this, Greg was manager of Investor Relations at EnCana Corporation and previous to that held similar positions with Alberta Energy Company Ltd. and AEC Pipelines, L.P.
  
  
• Gary Miller, Vice President, Operations.
  Gary has extensive experience in petroleum and natural gas operations both domestically and internationally. Gary joined Progress in July 2004 and prior to his promotion to Vice President in February 2008, held the position of Director of Operations. Prior to his employment at Progress, Gary was Production Superintendent for Qatar Petroleum.
  
  
• James Stannard, Vice President, Engineering.
  James joined Progress Energy Ltd. in June of 2002. Prior to his promotion to Vice President, Engineering in February of 2008, James held the position of Director of Engineering and has been instrumental in the development of our core regions. Prior to his employment at Progress, James held production and reservoir engineering positions at NAL Resources Ltd., Apache Canada Ltd. and Fletcher Challenge Energy Canada.
  
  

• David Johnson Mr. David D. Johnson, 57, is the Chairman of Progress Energy Trust. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of ProEx Energy Ltd. Prior to this, Mr. Johnson was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Progress Energy Ltd from November 2001 to July 2004 and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Encal Energy Ltd. from July 1994 to April 2001. Mr. Johnson has over thirty years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry including a background in production, reservoir evaluation and operations. He has a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum as well as the Association of Engineers, Geologists and Geophysics of Alberta and has served twice as a Governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
  
  
• Michael Culbert Mr. Michael R. Culbert, 50, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Progress Energy Ltd. Prior to his current position, Mr. Culbert was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Progress Energy Ltd. from November 2001 to July 2004 and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Encal Energy Ltd. From 1995 to October 2001. Mr. Culbert holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and has over twenty five years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry including a background in marketing, business development, and economics and planning.
  
  
• Donald Archibald Mr. Donald Archibald, 47, is an independent business man since March 2008. Prior to this Mr. Archibald was the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cyries Energy Inc. from July 2004 to March 2008. Mr. Archibald was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to July 2004 and the president and Chief Executive Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. from 1995 to March 2001. He has considerable public company experience and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Masters of Business Administration.
  
  
• John Brussa Mr. John A. Brussa, 51, is a partner of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP since 1987 and is presently the head of its Tax Department. Mr. Brussa received his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor in 1981 and currently serves as a director of a number of publicly listed resource corporations, a mutual fund trust and investment dealer and several non-profit or charitable organizations.
  
  
• Fred Coles Mr. Frederic C. Coles, 64, is the founder and President of Menehune Resources Ltd., a private company, since April 2002. Prior to this Mr. Coles was Chairman of the Board of Applied Terravison Systems Inc., a public technology company, a position he held from 1986 to his retirement in March 2002. Mr. Coles worked as a reservoir engineer for a number of oil and gas companies, prior to undertaking the role of Chairman and President of an engineering consulting firm specializing in oil and gas. Mr. Coles is a director of a number of companies including an energy trust. He has a B.Sc. and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.
  
  
• Howard Crone Mr. Howard Crone, 45, is an independent business man since July 2004. Prior to this Mr. Crone was Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from August 2003 to July 2004 and prior thereto was Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Cequel Energy Inc. from January 2002 to August 2003. Prior thereto Mr. Crone was Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Energy Inc. from 1995 to March 2001. He has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.
  
  
• Gary Perron Mr. Gary Perron, 52, is a Managing Director & Senior Vice President with BMO Nesbitt Burns and has provided investment advisory services for more than 28 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Perron is Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Norrep Group of funds which currently manages six public funds and four limited partnerships. Mr. Perron has served as a director of several public companies in which he represented the shareholders and received first-hand experience of value creation in public companies.
